In FY 2024, the ServiceSource Foundation supported 18 critical programs, serving thousands of individuals in the local communities in which we operate. Each program meets local community needs identified through our annual Strategic Planning process. More than $1 million was allocated to support these programs across all ServiceSource and affiliated organizations.

Ellmore Farmhouse at Frying Pan Farm Park

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the ServiceSource Foundation completed a successful fundraising campaign to support renovations to the Ellmore Farmhouse located on the grounds of Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon, VA.  Ellmore Farmhouse was awarded to ServiceSource through the Fairfax County Resident Curator Program for the purpose of converting the historical home into a hub for long-term community integrated services (LTCIS). Foundation Trustee, Albert Wu, led the fundraising campaign, in which we raised over $700,000 from donors to complete the renovation project, including a generous grant from the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation. We are thrilled to share that Ellmore Farmhouse is now up and running, serving as ServiceSource’s 11th LTCIS site in Northern Virginia.

The Community Assistance Endowment

After an extensive, five year fundraising campaign, the $5.2 million Community Assistance Endowment was established, effective January 1, 2022.

The creation of the Endowment provides a permanent, long-term funding mechanism that is available to provide individual assistance grants to fund critical needs of individuals who have disabilities and/or their families and caregivers, when they have no other or limited resources available to them.

Donors to the Endowment established Named Scholarships in honor or in memory of someone. These Named Scholarships provide the opportunity for donors to designate scholarships to regions or programs that are meaningful to them and within the scope of ServiceSource provided services or locations.

If you or someone you know has a disability and needs support, please contact giving@servicesource.org about endowment eligibility.
