“I’ve worked as a stocker at the Fort Belvoir North Post Exchange Express for almost 2 years. Without ServiceSource, I wouldn’t be where I am or the person I am today. My job coaches have been huge supporters since day one. They’ve helped me figure out a lot about myself like what jobs to apply for and how to prepare, and they’ve given me some great advice on how to improve on my tasks at work.”
Ricky participates in ServiceSource’s Autism Services program. With the support of ServiceSource Employment Development Specialists, Ricky has found a job that he loves. “I love my co-workers just like my family,” says Ricky, “I love my job because it has helped me feel more confident and ready for the next stage in my life, because it has taught me to be prepared and organized.”
“My job has been a positive thing in my life because I am able to build a strong relationship with my co-workers and customers alike. I feel more comfortable with myself, and know that if I make a mistake, I can fix it. I’m also honored to serve in a store for military soldiers.”
