Meet Jerry

Congratulations to Jerry Dykstra, Volunteer Fairfax 2018 Volunteer of the Year!

This year, 144 people were nominated for the award, and ServiceSource is so proud to honor our very own Jerry Dykstra. Jerry volunteers every Tuesday at our Oakton Community Integration Center by leading a Life Skills Class that has quickly become one of the most popular activities of the week. Jerry uses his extensive experience as a motivational life coach to help program participants build self-image and achieve their goals. From writing books to forming a rock band, participants’ dreams come to life in Jerry’s weekly classes.

Thank you for your selfless dedication to ServiceSource’s mission, Jerry, and congratulations on winning the 2018 Volunteer Fairfax Volunteer of the Year award!
