On October 25, ServiceSource Florida donated its eighth mortgage-free condominium to Sharonda Taylor-Hyman at Crestview Villas in Cocoa, FL. “Owning a home will provide security and stability for my family,” said Sharonda. “It’s such an uplifting feeling. I am truly blessed to receive it.”
Sharonda has been living with a brain tumor since 2016, and she refuses to let it stop her from living a happy and fulfilled life. She currently works for Stewart Medical Group, specializing in Vascular Medicine and Wound Care, where she enjoys helping people and positively impacting her community. Sharonda is also a devoted mother to three boys, each navigating their own unique paths. Her oldest son, Jermaine, is six and has hearing differences and is on the autism spectrum, and her other children, A’nija and Jameer, are two and one years old and have disabilities. “We wish you the best in this new chapter of your life and are honored to have supported your journey along the way,” said Bruce Patterson, President and CEO.
Several elected officials for the State of Florida attended the home giveaway ceremony, including Mayor Michael Blake, City of Cocoa; Carole Jean Jordan, Indian River County Tax Collector; Lisa Cullen, CFC Brevard County Tax Collector; Aaron Frisbee, CIO for the Brevard County Tax Collector; and Patrick Gavin, District Director in Congressman Posey’s Office.
