www.nrd.gov – The NRD or National Resource Directory is a database of validated resources that supports recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration for service members, veterans, family members, and caregivers.

https://www.benefits.va.gov/vocrehab/vsoc.asp – Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E). An online employment resource center for veterans, including videos explaining VR&E’s services and programs, links for job searching, current and direct employment opportunities and helpful resume and interview resources.

http://www.opm.gov/veterans/html/vetguide.asp – United States Office of Personnel Management. Contains a wealth of information for veterans who are returning to the workforce, including information on eligibility for benefits and application processes.

https://www.vfw.org/assistance/financial-grants – VFW Unmet Needs Program. This program provides financial aid grants of up to $1,500 to assist military families who have run into unexpected financial difficulties as a result of deployment or other military-related activity or injury. Assistance is made in the form of a grant – not a loan – so no repayment is required.
