Job Placement

Job Placement Services

For the year ended June 30, 2023, WorkSource assisted over 180 individuals with disabilities seeking to obtain and maintain employment in the community. Over 100 different employers hired WorkSource clients, including those transitioning from welfare-to-work and school-to-work.

Over 50% of those employers also had WorkSource clients in their employ during the previous year. Many WorkSource clients enjoy lengthy tenures with some of the employers shown below.

WorkSource employment specialists work with clients to determine job skills, identify interests, assist with interviewing techniques, and help plan and conduct a job search. Employment specialists then provide on-the-job training and follow-along support for as long as is necessary.

Ticket to Work services, including career counseling, are available to assist individuals with disabilities receiving Social Security Administration benefits to return to work or to obtain work for the first time.
