About the Program

Homes for Independence was formed in 1995 with a primary focus to provide affordable, accessible and safe housing for people with low income and/or disabilities. Inclusion is the cornerstone of all our housing programs. Our mission is to provide seamless integration into established condominiums with easy access to shopping and transportation.

This program serves people in Pinellas and Brevard Counties in Florida. Rental units are scattered throughout 31 different condominium complexes.

Abilities Housing Program

ServiceSource is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to build more inclusive communities by facilitating services, resources, and partnerships that support people with disabilities, along with their families, caregivers, and community members. ServiceSource and its affiliated organizations provide programs and operations in more than a dozen states and the District of Columbia.
