The President has signed a continuing resolution that funds the temporary reopening through February 15. However, before you can report back to work, an official authorization or a “Start Work Order” needs to be received for your site. Employees are encouraged to stay in touch with their site management for information and to continue to check our website for information.

We have also included contact information for your state Employment Commission where you can file for unemployment. Please be aware that if you file for unemployment and are later paid for the furloughed days, you will be required to repay to the state any earnings you received through the state unemployment agency.

If at any time during the furlough you need additional assistance in filling out the unemployment paperwork, we strongly encourage you to reach out to your contacts within operations and/or your Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist.
