ServiceSource’s 32nd Annual Service Excellence Awards

On Thursday October 12, ServiceSource was pleased to recognize nearly 100 employees at their 32nd Annual Service Excellence in Employment Awards Dinner.  NBC News Anchor and Reporter, Erika Gonzalez helped emcee and recognize the majority of awardees with Service Excellence in Employment Awards.

Nashville Recording Artist, Luke Caccetta performed the National Anthem.

2017 Community Partner of Year

AMC Tysons Corner was recognized as the 2017 Community Partner of Year Awardee. AMC Entertainment endorses a nationwide FOCUS Program, which stands for Furthering Opportunities, Cultivating Untapped Strengths. At the local level, AMC Theatres in Northern Virginia have hired 14 ServiceSource job seekers, of which seven were hired by the AMC Tysons Corner 16.

2017 Staff Employee of the Year

Abby Baker was recognized as the 2017 Staff Employee of the Year. Abby has been with ServiceSource since 2014. She was first hired as an Employment Development Specialist and has been promoted to numerous positions, include Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist, Human Resources Generalist and her current position as Operations Manager at the Total Facilities Management Contract at the National GeoSpatial Intelligence Agency in St. Louis, Missouri.

2017 Placement Employee of the Year

Ken Shelton was recognized as the 2017 Placement Employee of the Year. Ken has been employed at the Giant Food Store in Reston, VA since 2010.

2017 Participant Employee of the Year

The evening closed out with the recognition of our 2017 Participant Employee of the Year going to Byron Cole. Byron is a nineteen year employee of ServiceSource, working at the Department of Commerce Mail contract through the AbilityOne program.
