The ServiceSource Foundation held its 12th Annual Spring Wine Dinner at the Phoenix Park Hotel in Washington, DC on Wednesday, May 3. The exclusive event was attended by nearly 100 guests. Almost $450,000 was raised in support of people with disabilities and ServiceSource programs. An exquisite dinner was prepared by Chefs from Marriott and Ritz-Carlton and wines from New Zealand and California were generously donated by Treasury Wine Estates.
ServiceSource Foundation Chairman, Bruce Wardinski shared with attendees that the Foundation has raised $9.3 million since its inception in 2004 and that with the evenings proceeds, more than $4 million has been raised directly from the Annual Wine Dinner. Guests were encouraged to support a dollar for dollar match campaign to establish a $5 million Community Assistance Endowment that will be used to provide necessary services and resources for individuals and families who otherwise do not have the ability to access these resources.
