About Opportunity Center, Inc. (OCI)
The mission of Opportunity Center, Inc. (OCI) is to provide individuals with disabilities an exceptional service delivery experience through innovative and valued employment, training, rehabilitation, and support services. OCI will provide the best service experience for people with disabilities and, in so doing, will create an environment in which we will attract and retain mission-focused employees, as well as customers, families, and supporters who will be committed to our mission.
We will achieve our vision through the power of our people and leadership, commitment to innovation, effective alliances, efficient use of information management resources, and proven financial strength. As a result, OCI and the people we serve will be active, integral, and valued members of the communities where we operate.
In 2004, we affiliated with ServiceSource, a nonprofit organization with a mission to facilitate services and partnerships to support people with disabilities, their families, caregivers, and community members to build more inclusive communities. ServiceSource comprises multiple affiliated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations working in concert to build more inclusive communities for people with disabilities. Each affiliate is a separate legal entity led by an executive director with deep community connections and expertise.
Our Programs
This unique program provides freedom and flexibility by bridging the gap in transportation services and reducing financial barriers.
Many of our employment opportunities are affirmative employment contracts to support our mission to provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
A competency-based and highly individualized program that assists individuals in gaining the skills necessary for entry-level jobs in their chosen area of work.
This program is designed to help people prepare for, locate and retain employment. Through counseling, coaching, instruction and networking, ServiceSource partners with individuals to conduct their job search and find stable, successful employment.
Our counseling services educate individuals with disabilities on necessary healthcare benefits in addition to strategies to improve financial well-being.
This program is designed to increase the participation of individuals on the Autism spectrum in the labor market, with a focus on young adults transitioning out of high school.
Warrior Bridge is a vital connection to resources and support for veterans with disabilities as they seek employment, self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.
This program is sponsored by the Delaware Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and includes individual (1:1) sessions. The program also helps share with students insights and lessons learned from professionals working in various employment fields.
This Delaware program provides opportunities for students to learn vocational skills, explore community-based employment and complete paid and unpaid internships in order to make informed decisions about future career goals.
The Dover Community Center in is designed for individuals with disabilities, ages 55+ who have worked either in the community or are in center-based programs.
Each year hundreds of individuals in our Community Integration Services program participate in expressive and recreational therapies including art, dance, music and yoga therapy and therapeutic horseback riding. These therapies help build and maintain critical expressive, motor and memory skills.
The Riverfront Community Center program Wilmington, Delaware and is designed to maximize community access and community inclusion for participants. Within the program, we are focused on providing both skill development and varied opportunities for community participation.
Business Solutions
OCI is committed to creating opportunities for people with disabilities and providing customized business solutions to government and commercial customers.
As an affiliate of SerivceSource, we are one of five organizations supporting exceptional service delivery to more than 40 federal agencies nationwide while providing competitive integrated employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities. Our solutions meet a wide range of business needs, including administrative services, mail center operations, total facilities management, and more.

ServiceSource holds expertise in contract closeout project phase-in, start up, and ongoing operation. We offer services at both on-site and off-site locations.
ServiceSource and its affiliates are certified at the highest level to provide Total Facilities Management services to Federal Government customers through the AbilityOne Program.
ServiceSource has a longstanding expertise in mail center management services. We hold a Top-Secret Facility Clearance and operate multiple mail contracts throughout the country.
Our capabilities and industry-leading expertise cover all aspects of complex food service operations while consistently meeting or exceeding performance requirements.
