Direct Employment
ServiceSource directly employs more than 1,700 individuals with disabilities on affirmative employment contracts in nine states and the District of Columbia. We support and encourage a culture that prioritizes the unique needs and choices of our employees with a focus on personal and professional development. Our employment options are as varied as the people we serve.
Vocational Evaluation and Placement Services
Servicesource has a talented team of employment specialists who work closely with program participants and State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Offices (DVR) in their efforts to explore careers as well as obtain and maintain valued employment in the community. ServiceSource places more than 600 individuals with disabilities with community employers annually.
Group Supported Employment
Group supported employment offers a variety of employment options with close supervision and job coaching. Through this program, a work group of employees travels to an off site location to work on a specific contract. Some of the employment options include mail service, laundry operations, food service, custodial services, and retail sales.
Center-Based Employment
ServiceSource offers center-based employment and training programs that offer a variety of employment options for individuals with disabilities— although not each location offers every type of employment. Types of work include mailings and fulfillment, scanning, data entry, light assembly, and Keep it Green computer recycling. This program allows individuals to receive paid work and specialized skills training in a supported environment.
