New Location for Day Habilitation Program Slated to Open in July 2012 |
Consistent with ServiceSource's strategic initiative to address day service capacity needs, ServiceSource is pleased to announce the expansion of its Day Habilitation Program in Virginia. The organization has recently signed a long term lease to house the program in a 26,000 square foot suite located in Chantilly, VA. The project is now entering the construction phase with a projected opening in July 2012.
The new location will serve a number of current ServiceSource program participants who are travelling extensively to reach the current Springfield location, as well as persons exiting the local school systems in the coming years for whom there are currently limited options. ServiceSource collaborated closely with sponsoring rehabilitation agency partners, rehabilitation associates in the local school systems and program participants and caregivers to identify the most beneficial area to open a center of this type. The location was decided upon based upon offering more distributed access to these important services and significant system capacity well into the future.
